Water Management Plans

Chris Nancrede, EIT, ASSE 12080 has expertise in providing expert support for developing effective Water Management Programs (WMPs). These programs are critical for any facility with a complex or simple water systems, especially hospitals, long-term care and healthcare organizations that must meet The Joint Commission’s water management standards (EC.02.05.02, EPs 1–4). Correctional institutions like prisons and jails are also an area of expertise, which require Legionella control. He works closely his clients to ensure they not only meet regulatory requirements but also implement practical, engineering-based strategies to reduce the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.

When designing a Water Management Program, Chris follows the 7-step process outlined in ASHRAE Standard 188. This serves as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the building’s water system, helping identify areas where waterborne pathogens could thrive and putting clear procedures in place to reduce those risks. His goal is to help you prevent

Legionnaires’ disease and respond effectively to any issues that arise within your system. With his deep expertise and independent approach, he is able to create tailored programs that protect your facility, your occupants, and your reputation.
