Correctional institutions like prisons and jails are also an area of expertise, which require Legionella control. He works closely his clients to ensure they not only meet regulatory requirements but also implement practical, engineering-based strategies to reduce the risk of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens.
When designing a Water Management Program, Chris follows the 7-step process outlined in ASHRAE Standard 188. This serves as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the building’s water system, helping identify areas where waterborne pathogens could thrive and putting clear procedures in place to reduce those risks.
